# RCLONE
Rclone syncs files to and from cloud storage providers as well as
mounting them, listing them in lots of different ways.

## Overview
| Command | Description |

| `rclone config` | Config rclone (e.g. connect with proton) |

| `rclone lsd proton:` | Show directories from proton |
| `rclone lsd proton:Backups` | Show directories from proton in folder Backups |
| `rclone ls proton:` | Show directories & files from proton |
| `rclone ls proton:Backups` | Show directories & files from proton in folder Backups |

| `rclone copy <file> proton:Backups` | Copy <file> to proton to folder Backups |

| `rclone delete proton:Backups --min-age 30d` | Delete alle files from proton in folder Backups that are older than 30 days |
| `rclone delete proton:Backups --dry-run` | Delete alle files from proton in folder Backups (dry run) |

## Installation
```bash
sudo apt install rclone        # install rclone
```

if rclone is too old and doesn't support proton, you have to
- deinstall rclone
- install newiest version of rclone manually

sudo apt remove rclone         # if too old
hash -r                        # clean bash cache
sudo curl https://rclone.org/install.sh | sudo bash   # install brand new version
```

the newest version could have problems - deupgrade version

sudo rclone selfupdate --version v1.74.4              # currently errors in brand new v1.75
```
